Prospective graduate students
CUHK M.Phil. and Ph.D. programme (opens in a new tab)
Regular deadline around the end of January each year
- Admitted students receive a monthly stipend of approximately USD 2,400.
- On-campus student housing may be applied for, typically around USD 400 per month.
Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (opens in a new tab)
Deadline typically around 1 December each year
- Monthly stipend of approximately USD 3,600.
- Annual conference-travel allowance of approximately USD 1,800.
- One-time housing allowance of approximately USD 5,000, plus access to on-campus housing.
Prospective postdoctoral fellows

Internal nomination deadline typically in early September each year
- Annual stipend of approximately USD 55,000 for three years.
香江學者計劃 / Xiangjiang Scholars Program (opens in a new tab)
Deadline typically in early January each year
- Annual stipend of approximately USD 47,000 for two years.
