Machine learning applications in volcano seismology

Research

I am a geophysicist with research interests in seismology, seismic signal processing, and machine-learning applications for earthquake monitoring. My current work focuses on developing deep-learning methods for robust seismic phase picking, particularly for volcano-tectonic and long-period earthquakes in volcanic settings.

My broader research experience includes gravity and magnetic field modeling, constrained gravity inversion, and the application of numerical methods to image Earth structure. I am interested in combining computational geophysics with modern data-driven approaches to improve the analysis and interpretation of complex geophysical observations.

Background

I received an M.S. in Applied Geophysics from Central South University in 2020, following a B.S. in Applied Geophysics from the same institution in 2017.
